"Work Environment and Role of HR"

What do you think about the title of this article?

Don't you think so, that HR plays an important/ key role in building up the work environment of any organization.

if the working environment is open and friendly then credit goes to HR, but if the working environment is very closed and conservative, then again its the HR, who is responsible for the same.
considering the fact that, work environment play an important role in retention of any employee, it is that factor, i think, which matters the most.....for employee satisfaction....

So, for every HR Professional, the first task should be to know, to understand work environment of any organization, and if the environment seems to good and open, then responsibility of any HR becames to enhance the same or to retain the same, but say if its the other way round, then it becomes the biggest challenge for any HR person, to work on it and change the same...

So, now the choice is yours..............
either to build or to destroy the work environment

"Motivation and HR"

Many people believe motivation is the driving force behind an action and Motivation Strategies differ from person to person, for some monetary motivation works, while for some non monetary motivation works, its totally depends on person.
This is probably the simplest explanation.

Motivation can be considered as a feeling inside that encourages a certain action. Some managers still try to get their work done by simply bullying the staff. They call it ‘motivation - a stimulus to their employees to work hard!’ … following 6 ways to encourage your team in the right manner.

What motivates you?:
First of all think about what inspires you to work. Make a note of all those things that are important to you in your working life.

What motivates your people? :
Motivation is a complex area. It’s different for each individual as each person has got a different reason to work. Some might love the work they are assigned to do. Some might like change, challenge and diverse problems to solve. Others may wish for greater status, higher pay, better working conditions and flexible benefits.
It simply means you can’t take up a common policy to motivate and retain your entire workforce. Find out individually what your employees want most from their jobs by asking them in performance appraisals, attitude surveys, e-mails or informal conversations.

Monetary incentives:
That being said, regardless of the various reasons to go to work, compensation is a common denominator.
Therefore, make sure you give enough importance to monetary benefits, by paying what your employees deserve. Healthy pay packages not only attract efficient people, but also motivate them to work better everyday. And it is a fact that your other motivational tactics work only when people are happy with their earnings on the job.

Recognize and reward hard work:
This is indeed a motivation to people who work for love and thus always give their hundred percent. Research reveals that nothing inspires them to work harder than a public pat on the back. Added to that, your appreciation motivates others to give their best shot so that they are also recognized among their peers.

Growth and development:
As an important employee motivational factor, you can also consider giving opportunities to your people to grow in their work domain. Provide them with education and training; occasionally allow them to sit in high-level meetings; and empower them to take some decisions.

Make it a fun place to work in:
Add some fun to the daily grind. Small things like birthday parties for your employees, a team dinner to celebrate a special achievement, installing a games room on the premises…there are loads of options.

Relating various departments with Human Organs

Relating various departments with "HUMAN ORGANS"

Sales and Marketing - Mouth
Systems - Nerves
Finance - Brain
Human Resources - Heart

so, that is why,
HUMAN RESOURCES is considered as HEART of an organization

Meaning of "Human Resources"

"Human Resources" is an increasingly prominent field that is taking shape throughout industries and workplaces world wide. Recognizing the fact that people are a company’s greatest asset, business leaders across the globe are coming to rely more and more upon an effective management policy that applies specifically to the area of human resources.

But what, exactly, is the definition of human resources? Essentially, HR applies to the workforce managed by any employer. A business of any size needs employees in order for it to run. As an important – the most important – asset for any business leader, employees need to be properly managed in order for optimal efficacy to be achieved.

Now, properly managing a workforce is a lot more complicated than, say, the maintenance of a company’s material capital such as machinery, computer systems, etc. Indeed, the mechanistic approach to employee relations has often failed. Fortunately, this failure has prompted close study into how to effectively see that human capital is treated right and is able to reach its full potential, because its the only resources with feeling, emotions, behaviour, attitudes, values etc. and when an employees comes to work, they comes along with these traits, and one cannot separate the same from them, rest all resources deals with tangible things, but managing intangible aspects definitely require a separate skills, knowledge, attitude, in order to manage them effectively and efficiently.

That’s why the application of human resources management focuses largely on a more sensitive and human analysis to determine what really works with employees.

The organization, which has recognized the importance of Human Resources, are running successfully and will be the achieving success and growth in the future too....

whereas, those who haven't, are still struggling!!!!!!!!!!!

so, success of any organization depends on "HUMAN RESOURCES" of that company.

Perception, an important part of Human Resources!!!!!

Did, we ever thought of Perception, that...it is very important part of Human Resource;

Perception, what one can undersatnd by this word perception....its nothing but pre-defined notions, feelings, thoughts, which anyone have in their mind, do we ever consider these points, that what we always think about something or about someone is always right?

So, now the question arises whether we should perceive the things or we should believe in fact....

Let me give an example.....we all want to join our dream organization....i think i am right............................. where we will be getting all benefits, facilities etc, but what if we get into it, and it is not in the same way, which we were thinking, won't our perception will be wrong, won't we will be wrong into our thinking, thoughts, feelings etc. .......
so certain things must be based on reality...don't you think so...............because we are human being, and we can't be always right in our perception........., so conclusion is

"Perception must be based on Reality"!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

WHAT IS HR, is it Human Resources or Human Relation?

so, what you all think, HR its Human Resources or Human Relation; according to me.... "Human Resources is a key towards building long term human relation", without which no healthy relation can be sustain in any organization. We cannot define, HR as human relation, because, when we talk about any relation, each relation is built or developed by human being (Human Resource), so one can say, " Human Relation is collection of Human Resources".

so............now if anyone ask you.....what is HR,....one can proudly say that, it is "Human Resources, which lead to healthy Human Relationship".
